World Gold Conference is a biennial grand academic gathering of decision-makers, entrepreneurs, experts and professionals from global gold mining industry and related technology areas. During 2005 to 2020, the conference was held on a rotating basis by Canada, Australia and South Africa. Since 2021, China and the United States have joined the group of organizers. In 2023, the 10th World Gold Conference will be held in China.

The conference welcomes gold industry researchers to submit papers on conference topics. An abstract within 500 words is needed for each paper, and those whose papers are chosen in the initial rounds are supposed to give presentations during the conference.
